A print created for the York Printmakers creative challenge. November 2020’s theme was 'Fire'.

Inspiration struck while out cycling in the Yorkshire Wolds. What 'lights my fire' is being out exploring on my bike and making things with my hands, playing in my studio.

This is an original linocut print (not a digitally reproduced print).

The prints are signed AP, which means Artists Proof. Please select the print you would like from those available in the drop down list on the right.

The prints are a development of ideas, which may or may not become a print edition in the future.

Paper size 130 x 180mm

Print size approx 70 x 120mm

Will fit into most standard 5 x 7" (13cm x 18cm) picture frames with or without 4 x 6" (10cm x 15cm) aperture mount.

Hand carved lino block, then hand printed using oil based inks on acid free paper.

Linocut printing is a handmade process and variation in colour and detail will occur. This adds to their individuality by making each print unique.

Each print is individually hand signed and numbered.
