How do I order your original linocut prints?​

Original linocut prints can be purchased from my Online Shop. Prices start from £20. ​

Deliveries are available by post. 

 

How much does delivery cost?

Standard delivery

£0.00 - £20.00 Packing & delivery will be £2.50

£20.01 - £25.00 Packing & delivery will be £3.50

£25.01 - £100 Packing & delivery will be £5.50

£100.01 - £300.00 Packing & delivery will be £10.00

More than £300 Packing & delivery will be £15.00

£20.01 - £25.00 Packing & delivery will be £5.50

£25.01 - £100 Packing & delivery will be £6.50

How is my order delivered?

Standard delivery

Orders up to £20 are delivered using Royal Mail 2nd Class service.

Orders over £20 - £99.99 are delivered using Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For or Royal Mail Tracked 48 with Signature service. A signature is required on delivery. 

Orders over £100 are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm service. A signature is required on delivery. 

Premium delivery

Orders up to £20 are delivered using Royal Mail 1st Class service.

Orders over £20 - £99.99 are delivered using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For or Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature service. A signature is required on delivery. 

Orders over £100 are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm service. A signature is required on delivery.

Click & collect

Orders can be picked up from my York studio. 

Please allow 5 working days. I will contact you when your order is ready to collect.

How long will my order take?

Please allow 3-10 working days for preparing and posting your order. Normally orders are posted within 3-5 days. 

Orders are posted within 10 days when I am occasionally out of the studio on research trips.

Although I am a one person business, I can usually accommodate. For urgent orders I use Royal Mail Special Delivery service. 

​

Is there a minimum order value?

The minimum order for postage is £20. This can be 2 different designs of packs of cards. For click and collect from my studio no minimum order applies.

​How is my order packaged?

Your order will be sent to you flat in protective packaging to ensure safe delivery.

​

​Do you post orders to other destinations?

If you would like us to ship to a destination not listed above, please contact me first.

​Please note that any customs fees or import charges incurred are the buyer's responsibility.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

I accept returns and exchanges if returned to me in perfect condition.  Please contact me within 14 days of delivery. Ship items back within 30 days of delivery. 

 

We do not provide free returns. You need to cover the cost of returning the item to me. Returned goods must be in the original packaging and packaged carefully for return postage. I recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service to return goods, to ensure that there is proof of delivery and the goods are insured whilst in transit. I am not responsible for losses during return transit.

 

Refunds for goods will be made against the original method of payment used to buy them. Refunds will be made for the cost of the goods only and not any shipping charges.

Unless products are deemed faulty, we do not offer exchanges.  In the event that your product arrives damaged please contact me at michellehughesdesign@outlook.com. I will replace any items which have arrived in a damaged condition.

 

Conditions of return: 


Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

What is an original print?

All of the linocut prints in my shop are original prints. These are printed by hand and are limited editions, signed and numbered. These are not digital reproductions or giclee prints.

 

Linocut printing is a handmade process and variation in colour and detail will occur. This adds to their individuality by making each print unique.

​

My greetings cards are all digitally printed reproductions of my original prints.

Are you looking for a specific print not in my shop?

Please get in touch if you are looking for a specific print from my printmaking page that is not available in my shop. I may have limited stock with slight colour variations.
