York Printmakers exhibition at Pyramid Gallery, York

25 members of York Printmakers are taking part in the exhibition at the Pyramid Gallery in York. Over 75 original prints have been beautifully curated in the galleries on the fifteenth centre National Trust building on Stonegate, near to York Mister.

I’m so very proud have my prints in such a lovely gallery.

Coincidentally the gallery is a stone throw from the job at Shared Earth that brought me to York. I never thought for one minute that one day I’d be exhibiting my work there.

My linocuts are the middle three. Robin Hood's Bay, Roseberry Topping and Staithes.

Above is Derek Gaud's Scarborough and Gill Douglas's Flamborough.

Our members use a variety of printmaking techniques, including long and wood cuts, collagraphs, monoprint, screen printing and etching.

Below are is a short video walk through and a few photos from the exhibition.

The exhibition runs until 17 March 2019.
