How it’s Made
This Barn Owl in Flight print is made using traditional linocut printmaking techniques. 
The barn owl outline and night sky are carved from a separate lino block. First, I printed the night sky in an indigo gradient; next, I printed the barn owl’s outline, both using high-quality, oil-based inks. Once fully dry, I hand-coloured the natural tones of the owl's feathers and some of the stars in the sky in professional watercolours, making every print truly unique.
