Inspiration
I was inspired to make this print after watching goldfinches perched on and feeding from teasel seed heads in Northumberland.
How It’s Made
Each print is individually hand-printed in my York studio using ochre oil-based ink and soft white paper. I re-ink the lino block for every print, so each one has its own subtle variations and character.
This is an original handmade linocut print, not a digital reproduction.
