A print created for the York Printmakers creative challenge. November 2020’s theme was 'Fire'.
What 'lights my fire' making things with my hands and playing in my studio. The quote and linocut print seemed quite fitting.
Hand carved lino block, hand printed using oil based inks on acid free paper. The lettering and match ends are printed using acid pigment ink pads.
This is an original linocut print (not a digitally reproduced print).
Paper size 130 x 180mm
Print size approx 70 x 120mm
Will fit into most standard 5 x 7" (13cm x 18cm) picture frames with or without 4 x 6" (10cm x 15cm) aperture mount.
Linocut printing is a handmade process and variation in colour and detail will occur. This adds to their individuality by making each print unique.
All prints come unframed with card backing and cellophane wrapped.
Each print is individually hand signed and numbered.
