Inspiration
Long-tailed tits regularly visit my garden here in York, and I often see flocks flying from tree to tree. They often pause in the trees in front of my studio window. I love hearing their distinctive song before I spot them, especially when I’m out walking in the countryside.
 
How it’s Made
This Long-tailed Tits print is individually hand-printed in my York studio on soft white paper using charcoal grey oil-based ink. The prints are hand-coloured in soft shades of blue, blush pink, and green, making each print truly unique.

Hand-printed onto 200 gsm soft white, acid-free paper.

Mounted Original Linocut Print: Supplied unframed, mounted in a soft white, acid-free mount with a protective backing board, and wrapped in cellophane for protection.

How to Take Care of Your Original Print
This original print is created using professional, high-quality oil-based inks and watercolours, along with acid-free paper and mounts. While the inks and watercolours have excellent lightfastness, I recommend hanging your print out of direct sunlight. Read more on my FAQs page.
