An original linocut print of a red squirrel, hand-printed in terracotta. Red squirrels are native to the UK. They inhabit the broadleaf woodlands of the UK. They are a protected species in steep decline. Details on red squirrel conservation can be found on the Wildlife Trusts website.  I last spotted one while camping near Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.
