This wren bird linocut print is inspired by spotting the tiny Eurasian wren in my garden. Although wrens are one of the UK's most common garden birds, it's hard to spot. I often hear their distinctive loud chirping and singing before I spot them in a hedge.
How it’s made
This is a one-colour linocut print, hand-printed using oil-based inks.
Limited edition linocut print
Hand-printed onto 200gms soft white acid-free paper.
Image size: As a guide for framing, the image is within a 70mm x 120mm area.
Paper size: 130mm x 180mm (5x7”)
This is a signed and numbered print from a limited edition of 100.
All prints come unframed with a protective card backing and wrapped in cellophane.
Framed and mounted prints are for illustration purposes only.
Each print has been printed by hand. Due to their handmade nature, each one varies slightly in colour and detail. This adds to their individuality by making each print unique.
