The inspiration for this print came from a walk along St Bees Head.

 

St Bees on the west coast of Cumbria is the start of Wainwright's infamous Coast to Coast walk. The 188-mile walk from St Bees crosses the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors.  finishing at Robin Hood's Bay, a fishing village on the Yorkshire Coast.

The design is hand-carved using three lino blocks and hand-printed in five colours.
