An original linocut print of Staithes Harbour, capturing the charm of this picturesque fishing village on the North Yorkshire coast.
This hand-printed artwork celebrates Yorkshire’s coastal heritage, depicting the harbour and village, known for its clustered cottages, winding lanes, and fishing boats resting quietly in the harbour at low tide. Perfect for lovers of the sea, coastal landscapes, and handmade British art.
Inspiration
I was inspired by one of my favourite walks along the Cleveland Way, from Staithes to Runswick Bay.
How it’s MadeThis Staithes Harbour print is created using a traditional multi-block linocut technique. Three individually hand-carved blocks are carefully aligned and hand-printed in my York studio using high-quality oil-based inks.
